The Emily Vonder Meulen Memorial Fund was created in memory of our loving daughter Emily who fell victim to her food allergies and died suddenly of anaphylaxis on April 13, 2006. She was only 13 years old.

Oh my goodness. I’m so sorry to read about what happened to Emily, but so thankful that you are allowing others to share in your life and experiences. While searching to find some info to use in our upcoming golf tournament, I bumped into your site. Divine Intervention?!!?
My 5 yr old son, Ethan, has life threatening allergies to peanuts, tree nuts, & soy. He also has Asthma, eczema and sensory issues. We have had many accidental exposures, trips to the ER and hospital stays… mostly because of people that just do not understand food allergies.
